Job Details:

  • Operate controls for sawing machinery and conveyor system to cut stock and move product through the process
  • Adjust machine speed and tension when necessary to meet specifications
  • Straighten rough edges of lumber by trimming defects
  • Establish blade, type, and grade needed to complete work order
  • Count, sort, and stack finished product
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Clean and lubricate sawing machinery and resolve jams
  • Sharpen or replace worn blades
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear

Position Requirement:

  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to work in various temperature and weather conditions
  • Engage in repetitive motions including bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with precision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Great attendance and punctual
