Job Details:

  • Second shift, Monday - Friday
  • 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

  • Assist workers in welding and thermal cutting tasks
  • Move workpieces, tools, and supplies manually or by powered machinery
  • Remove impurities including slag, rust, and grease from workpieces
  • Set up hand torches for workers
  • Activate electric generators by starting diesel engines
  • Lift, move, hold, or clamp workpieces as directed
  • Preheat workpieces in a furnace for a specific amount of time
  • Tag and transport completed projects

Position Requirements:

  • No welding experience required
  • Basic math skill
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions carefully and efficiently
  • Stand for long periods
  • Engage in bending, pushing, squatting, and pulling
  • Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions
